Drug-eluting stent (DES) is a stent that uses a bare-metal stent platform to carry (carry) anti-intimal hyperplasia drugs, which can be eluted and released locally in blood vessels to effectively inhibit intimal hyperplasia and prevent intrastent restenosis. Drug-eluting stents include bare stents made of stainless steel or cobalt-chromium that are covered with anti-proliferative drug carriers whose polymer-loaded coatings include permanent, degradable, and polymer-free drug coating technologies that carry drugs including limos and paclitaxel.

Ultrasonic spraying technology, also known as ultrasonic atomization spraying technology, has been widely used in the medical field in the preparation of drug-eluting stents. A drug-eluting stent is a device for intravascular interventional therapy, often used to treat narrowed or blocked blood vessels. Ultrasonic spraying technology enables uniform and dense drug coatings with the following advantages:

● Uniformity: The ultrasonic spraying technology can evenly spray the drug on the surface of the stent, avoiding the uneven distribution of the drug during the coating process, thus improving the release efficiency and therapeutic effect of the drug.

● Drug retention: Ultrasonic spraying technology can prepare a dense and uniform drug coating, which can effectively prevent the dissolution and fall off of the drug, thereby extending the residence time of the drug on the stent and improving the treatment effect.

● Saving drugs: Ultrasonic spraying technology uses vortex or oscillating ultrasound to turn the drug solution into microdroplets, which can greatly reduce the amount of drugs and save the cost of drugs.
